Terms & Conditions
The rules for using SVTCart as a buyer or a seller, written to match how the marketplace actually works today.
1. About these terms
These terms apply to everyone who uses SVTCart. By creating an account, listing a product or placing an order you agree to them.
2. SVTCart is a marketplace
SVTCart connects buyers with independent sellers. Sellers own their stock and are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, the condition of the items they ship and their compliance with the law. SVTCart is not the seller of items listed by other users.
3. Your account
You must give accurate details, keep your login secure and use the account yourself. A mobile number is required. You are responsible for activity on your account.
4. Listings and moderation
Seller listings are submitted for review and become publicly visible only after SVTCart approves them. We may reject, pause or remove a listing that breaks our policies, misstates condition or price, or is reported and found to be unsafe. Sellers cannot approve or publish their own listings.
5. Prohibited items and conduct
Do not list counterfeit, stolen, recalled, hazardous or legally restricted goods. Do not attempt to move a transaction off SVTCart, harass other users, share other people's personal information or manipulate reviews, offers or prices.
6. Orders and pricing
The price, quantity, delivery fee and order total are calculated and enforced on our servers at the moment you place the order. An order is a contract between the buyer and the seller. If an item is unavailable after ordering, the order may be cancelled and any payment refunded.
7. Payments
Online payments are processed by Razorpay on their secure page. SVTCart does not store your card number, CVV, UPI PIN or net-banking credentials. An order is treated as paid only after the payment provider confirms it. Cash on Delivery is available on eligible orders within the limits shown at checkout.
8. Delivery
Standard delivery is estimated at 3–7 days and Express delivery at 1–3 days for ₹129. Delivery windows are estimates, not guaranteed dates. No courier partner is integrated yet, so tracking updates are entered by the seller.
9. Returns, refunds and disputes
Returns and refunds follow our Returns & Refunds policy. Refunds are recorded and released manually by the SVTCart team; they are not issued automatically. Disputes are reviewed by SVTCart and only SVTCart can set the final outcome of a dispute.
10. Reviews
Only buyers with a verified purchase of the item can review it. Reviews that are abusive, fake or incentivised may be hidden.
11. Seller obligations
Sellers must complete verification, describe items honestly, keep stock accurate, dispatch on time, update tracking and honour the returns policy. Repeated violations can lead to warnings, suspension or removal of selling rights.
12. Commission and payouts
SVTCart charges a commission on completed sales at the rate shown in the seller dashboard. Seller earnings become available after the order is fulfilled and can then be requested as a payout.
13. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, harms other users or presents a fraud or security risk. You can close your account at any time; records we are required to keep are retained as described in the Privacy Policy.
14. Liability
SVTCart provides the marketplace as it is. We are not liable for the quality, safety or legality of items sold by independent sellers, beyond the buyer-protection remedies described in our policies and the rights you have under applicable law.
